Based out of Fargo, North Dakota since 2022, Kohlrabi Soup cooks up bluegrass with fresh ingredients: hard-driving strings, tight vocal harmonies, and a deep love for the tradition. Whether on a festival stage or under a tent at sunset, they bring energy, warmth, and a sound that feels both familiar and new.
Tapers notes: Recording 2 of 9 from Recfest 2026. I had heard of this band before, but hadn't seen them up to this point. I really enjoyed this set, lots of classic bluegrass songs with a few more recent ones mixed in. The band is super talented, just really fantastic musicianship, I would encourage any bluegrass fans to give this one a listen.
