Andrea Lyn and Mik Thomas are a dynamic acoustic duo, featuring music spanning generations. From classic rock anthems to the nostalgic 90s, they are classic, country, rock and more. Their original album, “The Wolves” has been featured on Bob FM, The Current, MPR and other stations, and performances range venues from intimate listening rooms to sprawling amphitheaters. Expect to hear covers from artists like Chris Stapleton, Train, GNR, Willie Nelson, Adele, CCR, and Dolly Parton, alongside their originals.

Tapers notes: This was my first time seeing Andrea on her own, the previous time was part of a multi artist show. I really enjoy her sound, she sang mostly covers with a few originals sprinkled in, and her originals are really good in my opinion. She was super accomodating to me in terms of recording, and kind in general to me and my roommate who was at the show as well. I'll definitely be seeing her again, and I would recommend her to anyone in Minnesota looking for some great live music.

Tapers notes: I learned about this event through Andrea Lyn, I had contacted her about recording an upcoming show of hers, and she asked if I would be interested in recording this one as well. I said yes, and even though I wasn't familiar with any of these artists except for Andrea, they were all enjoyable, and it ended up being a fun night. During Alyssa Flaherty's first song she had her guitar muted accidentally, about halfway through the song a sound tech came on and tapped the mute button and there it was, loud and clear. Other than that, no real flaws to speak of, I had a great spot for recording and I was pleased with how this turned out.
