Tapers notes: I've been trying to get better recordings of Josie for a while, in fact it was one of the main motivations for upgrading my equipment so I could get SBD recordings. This was my first attempt, and I noticed a bit of hiss from the SBD recording, I think I had the recording level too low. I had to raise it in post more than I wanted to, but now I know next time I can set the recording volume much higher and it should eliminate the hiss. That being said, this is still probably the best quality recording I've gotten of Josie, so that was exciting, her vocals really shine through here.
